The Winnipeg Strikers picked up a win at Winnipeg Grounds, dropping the Brandon Threshers, 9-2. Ernesto Ceja, who is tied for 9th in the PL with a 1.26 WHIP, was the difference-maker. The Strikers improved their record to 48-53 with the win over Brandon.

Ceja allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 8.2 innings for the Strikers. With the win, he is 15-2 with an ERA of 3.24.
