Loss Tarnishes Fine Effort by Leck
The Brandon Threshers spoiled a good performance by Winnipeg right fielder Ryan Leck, bumping off Winnipeg, 5-4, at Winnipeg Grounds. Leck hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Leoncio Gallegos got the win, improving to 12-6. He worked 9 innings, giving up 4 runs on 11 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0.
