Comediantes Show Nerve in Tight 3-2 Win
The San Antonio de los Banos Comediantes racked up a win at Estadio de San Antonio, bumping off the Mayabeque Alacranes, 3-2, in 13 innings. Constantino Vázquez, who started for San Antonio de los Banos, pitched effectively for his team. San Antonio de los Banos is in first place in the Torneo Occidental La Habana with a record of 72-53.

Batting in the bottom of the 13th, 27-year old shortstop Aquiles Martínez had a real shot to win the game. Mayabeque pitcher Diego Arocho was determined not to let it happen. But with two outs, Martínez hit a run-scoring single. The Comediantes had a walk-off triumph.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Martínez.
