Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Bangor River Hogs take on the Auburn Cordwainers.

The Bangor River Hogs powered past the Auburn Cordwainers, 11-7, in 15 innings at River Hogs Park. Marco Antonio Manzanares was 2-4 with a home run, a double, 3 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 and driving in 5, to lead the charge. Bangor, with the win, is 8-2.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 15th. With one out, Manzanares hit a slider from Matías Hernández for a grand slam home run. The River Hogs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Manzanares.
