Lucio Goes Off, But Elms Win
The Auburn Cordwainers got a sterling performance from third baseman Diomedes Lucio, but the Waterville Elms still prevailed, 12-11. Lucio was 4-5 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2. The Cordwainers continue "in the red" at 5-11.

Waterville used the hitting of Casimiro Amarante to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Elms on top, 12-9. For the game, Amarante had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
