Rocking Horses Deal Submersibles 8-3 Setback
The umbrellas came out during the Winchendon-Falmouth contest at OceanGate Memorial Stadium.

The Winchendon Rocking Horses picked up a win at OceanGate Memorial Stadium, knocking off the Falmouth Submersibles, 8-3. Starting pitcher Calvino Mejía played a key role in the triumph. The loss makes Falmouth 11-9.

Winchendon shortstop José Covarrubias contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 19th hit of the season and put the Rocking Horses ahead, 4-0.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Winchendon manager Roberto Ortiz. "That's what Calvino is right now."
