Griswold picked up a win at The Key Party, bumping off the Stamford Locksmiths, 7-0. Pitcher José González was a major reason the Vampires emerged victorious. González got the win, improving to 4-2. He gave up 10 hits and walked 3 over 8.1 innings. He allowed no runs. Griswold, now 19-3, is setting the league on fire so far.

In the bottom of the first, the Vampires, who led 2-0, were in trouble. Stamford had runners on 1st and 2nd with one out. Ezequiel Rodríguez was at the plate. On a 1-0 cutter from José González, Rodríguez lined out.
