The game between Concord and Derry is in the books, despite a little rain.

Concord shortstop Rutilio López had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Derry Spuds, 7-4. Fernando Cuestas closed the game out for Concord, earning his 2nd save.

There was more than one reason the Stagecoaches beat the Spuds, but López's big at-bat in the top of the first was an important factor. He staked his team to a 3-0 lead when he hit a bases-clearing double.

"We'll put this win in the can," said López, "and go after the next one."

Concord is now 25-13, while Derry is 23-15.
