Marrón Now 6-4 After Subduing Gamblers
|
The rain came, as predicted, but the Concord Stagecoaches and Manchester Gamblers were able to complete their ballgame.
Manchester had no answer for Concord Stagecoaches starter Pedro Marrón, who flummoxed Gamblers hitters as the Stagecoaches cruised to victory, 6-1. Concord leads the Northern New England Association New Hampshire Circuit by 2 games.
Marrón allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 8.1 innings for the Stagecoaches. With the win, he is 6-4 with an ERA of 2.55.
"I thought we played a nice game," Marrón told the Concord Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
