The Waterville Elms topped the Bangor River Hogs, 4-2, in Northern New England Association action at River Hogs Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Waterville pitcher Álvaro Piña. Piña, now 1-0, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing no runs.
