Waterville picked up a win at The Log Flume, bumping off the Bangor River Hogs, 5-4. Pitcher Bolívar Carabajal was a major reason the Elms emerged victorious. This win makes it 5 in a row for Waterville.

In the top of the 6th, left fielder Jorge Espinosa gave Waterville the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Elms had been trailing 3-2, but the two-out single off Bangor pitcher Aaron Creasey changed that -- and Waterville went on to win.

Espinosa attributed the triumph to "a good team effort."
