Cordwainers Lose Big to River Hogs, 10-2
Bangor beat Auburn in a rain-soaked ballgame.

Behind the hitting of Fructuoso Reyes, the Bangor River Hogs stopped the Auburn Cordwainers, 10-2. Reyes went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the River Hogs. After today's action, Bangor sits at 30-17; Auburn slips to 16-31.

In the top of the seventh, the River Hogs grabbed the lead when Reyes hit his 12th double of the season. The run-scoring double off Bonifacio Coronado made it 3-2, Bangor.

"Nothing to write home about," Auburn manager Isabelino Vidales said, when asked afterward about the game.
