The Grove was the site for Northern New England Association action featuring the Auburn Cordwainers and Waterville Elms.

Behind the hitting of Casimiro Amarante, the Waterville Elms stopped the Auburn Cordwainers, 7-1. Amarante was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Elms. The win elevated the Elms to 26-24.

Waterville took a 4-1 lead on Amarante's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Andrónico Cantú in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Waterville to the win.
