Gamblers Beat Gatekeepers, 5-3

Though the conditions were not ideal, the Manchester Gamblers and Nashua Gatekeepers came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
The Manchester Gamblers topped the Nashua Gatekeepers, 5-3, in Northern New England Association action at The Gatehouse. The game was highlighted by the performance of Manchester pitcher Felipe Mora. Mora, now 2-6, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing no runs.
In the top of the second inning of a 0-0 tie, Manchester designated hitter Balbino Rojas hit a run-scoring single. It broke the deadlock and put Manchester on top, 1-0.
"I always go out there hoping to contribute," said Mora.
The last-place Gamblers hiked their record to 18-45.
