Though the conditions were not ideal, the Barre Headstones and Bennington Melodeons came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Calvino Garza had a strong outing for the Barre Headstones against the Bennington Melodeons at The Graveyard. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Barre is now 29-37, Bennington 47-19.

Abdías de León found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Bennington hurler Martín Beltrán, the 20-year-old pinch hitter grounded out, driving in 1 run. His 2nd RBI of the season put the Headstones on top, 4-3.
