The Manchester Gamblers pinned a convincing loss on the Nashua Gatekeepers, 13-3, at Gamblers' Den. Hernando Matías was a main factor in the win. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for Manchester. Picking up the win was Harry Felix. He went 9 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. The right--hander struck out 8 and walked 2. Manchester goes to 37-37, Nashua to 43-31.

With Manchester leading 8-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Matías came up to bat against Nashua pitcher William Bell. Matías hit a slider to left for a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Gamblers on top, 11-3.

"We hit the ball hard," said Manchester manager Eduardo Goto. "Line drive after line drive."
