The Winchendon Rocking Horses beat the Templeton Red Onions, 8-3. Winchendon pitcher and Port Talbot, Wales, native Elton Porter led the way. The Rocking Horses now have a record of 37-48.

José Alvarado had a big 2-run double for the Rocking Horses in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Winchendon leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 33-year old right-handed pitcher Jorge Cortés and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rocking Horses ahead, 3-0.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Porter.
