Stagecoaches, Prats Deal Gamblers 9-1 Setback
|
Concord Stagecoaches starter Miguel Prats turned a whale of an effort into a win over the Manchester Gamblers. The final score was 9-1, Concord. Concord goes to 53-37, Manchester to 32-58.
Prats pitched a complete game for Concord. The right-hander, who calls Cuba, his home, racked up 11 Ks, while allowing just 3 hits. Gamblers hitters could not touch his fastball -- nor any other pitch, for that matter.
"Miguel pounded the zone relentlessly tonight," said Concord manager Nicanor Tomasini.
