Red Onions Use Late Rally to Win 5th Straight
The Templeton Red Onions defeated the Falmouth Submersibles, 7-4, in part because of catcher Ernesto Olivera. Olivera was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Red Onions. Templeton is now 53-40, while Falmouth is 49-44.

Templeton used the timely hitting of Cristóbal Yépez to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Red Onions on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Yépez said afterward that "winning is what it's all about."
