Wet weather did not postpone the Waterville-Lewiston ballgame.

The Waterville Elms knocked off the Lewiston Quebeckers, 9-4, at The Grove. Víctor Lebrón was a big reason Waterville won. The designated hitter went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Waterville.

In the bottom of the third inning, left fielder Jorge Espinosa delivered a key hit for the Elms. With Waterville trailing 3-1, he ripped a 2-run home run.

"They played a better game than we did," said Lewiston skipper Arquímedes Santiago.
