Estrada Hurls 7-0 Masterpiece
The Auburn Cordwainers manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Bangor River Hogs. The Cordwainers were overpowered by Bangor starter Julio Estrada, who hurled his club to victory, 7-0.

"It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Isabelino Vidales said.

Over 9 innings, Estrada blanked Auburn on 6 hits with no walks and 13 strikeouts.

"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Estrada said.

"I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."

This season, Estrada has worked 195.1 innings with 207 strikeouts en route to a 14-4 record and a 2.21 ERA.
