Lebrón goes 3-for-4 in Elms Win
The Waterville Elms just keep winning.

The Waterville Elms easily defeated the Bangor River Hogs, 12-4, at The Grove, with designated hitter Víctor Lebrón a main contributor to the win. He was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for Waterville. Jorge Villalobos came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 6.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0.

Lebrón contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Waterville in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-1, Lebrón took a slider from Angel D'Meza and stroked the double to left. His 22nd double of the season allowed the Elms to leap in front, 4-2.

"Winning never gets old," said Elms manager Esteban Banegas.

Now 61-41, the Elms have won 10 games in a row.
