The Lewiston Quebeckers picked up a win at Stade de Lewiston, downing the Waterville Elms, 7-3. On the mound for Lewiston was left-hander Tom Ferry, who played a pivotal role in the win. The win gives Lewiston a season record of 56-49.

The Quebeckers got a big hit from designated hitter Heliodoro González. In the bottom of the sixth, González smacked a 2-run home run off Waterville pitcher Jorge Villalobos. It was his 1st home run of the season. Suddenly, the Quebeckers were ahead, 3-2.

"We'll pocket this win," said González, "and then go after another."
