Cordwainers Walk It Off for 31st Win of Season
Auburn first baseman Emanuel Sánchez was instrumental in helping the Cordwainers triumph, 8-6, over the Bangor River Hogs. Sánchez was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. Auburn, with the win, is 31-75.

The decisive blow was delivered by Mario Siller in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Angel D'Meza to win the game for Auburn. The home crowd went nuts.
