1913 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Lewiston Quebeckers.
Getting offensive support from Luis López, the Bangor River Hogs topped the Lewiston Quebeckers, 5-2. López went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the River Hogs. With the win, the River Hogs have a record of 54-56.
Had López not come through in the top of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, López hit a 2-run single. The River Hogs took the lead, 4-2, and never looked back.
"I like to keep things lively in the clubhouse," said López. "Believe me, it's much easier after a win."
