The Templeton Red Onions took on the Winchendon Rocking Horses at The Toy Store.

Starting pitcher Ramiro López was a major factor in the 7-2 Templeton Red Onions triumph over the Winchendon Rocking Horses. Templeton, at 63-48, is 7 games up in the Southern New England Association Massachusetts Circuit.

Templeton used the timely hitting of Semónides González to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Red Onions on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

López said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
