Cordwainers Rally For 7-6 Win
Bangor got a terrific game from catcher Gastón Martínez. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Auburn, 7-6. Martínez was 2 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Auburn reliever Armando Galindo picked up the win, raising his record to 6-3. Angel D'Meza was tagged with the loss. The win hiked the Auburn record to 68-45.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the 11th, Eulalio Castro had a chance to end it. Bangor pitcher Angel D'Meza had other ideas. But with one out, Castro hit a run-scoring single. The Cordwainers had the win.

In postgame remarks, Castro simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
