Headstones Rally to Win
Headstones fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

The Barre Headstones beat the Bennington Melodeons, 4-3. Barre pitcher and Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, native Atilano Espinosa led the way. Néstor Obando earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 4-2.

Barre got a knockout punch from Marco Chacón. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This team is headed in the right direction," said Espinosa.

The win makes Barre 56-57.
