At Cordwainers Stadium, the Bangor River Hogs and Auburn Cordwainers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

No one was more impactful than Bill Galloway in the 6-4 Auburn win over Bangor. Galloway was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. José Muñoz earned the win to go to 6-22. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with 4 walks and 9 strikeouts in 9 innings of work.

Galloway had one of his biggest at-bats in the bottom of the sixth. Facing Angel D'Meza, the Auburn slugger hit a 3-run home run. Suddenly, what had been a 4-3 Auburn deficit turned into a 6-4 lead. For Galloway, it was his 4th home run of the season.

"I like the roll we're on," said Auburn manager Isabelino Vidales.

The win gives the Cordwainers a record of 37-81.
