Stade de Lewiston was the site for Northern New England Association action featuring the Lewiston Quebeckers and Waterville Elms.

The Waterville Elms racked up a win at Stade de Lewiston, bumping off the Lewiston Quebeckers, 6-3. José Ocampo, who started for Waterville, pitched effectively for his team. Ocampo, now 23-16, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 11 hits, while striking out 10, walking 0, and allowing 3 runs.

Waterville won the game in part because of Derek Day. The second baseman ripped a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Elms ahead, 5-3. For the game, Day had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Ocampo said.
