Juncos turned a good effort from starter Nestor Aldocer into a win over the Rio Grande Zarzas at Parquecito de Río Grande. The final score was 6-2. With the victory, the Chiringas record stands at 11-11.

Clemenz Zweig had a big 3-run home run for the Chiringas in the top of the first inning. With Juncos leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a curveball from 21-year old left-handed pitcher Geoffrey Boyer and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Chiringas on top, 4-0.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Juncos manager Rubén Gallardo.
