The Fajardo Camorristas took Ceiba pitcher Ángel Alfaro's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Parquecito de Fajardo. The final score had Fajardo getting past the Comesopas, 3-2. Alfaro went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 2. The Camorristas are now 18-12, while the Comesopas fall to 9-21.
Fajardo got a clutch hit from Tito López. The right fielder launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"I was a little disappointed," said Ceiba manager Hortensio Esquivel. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
