Guerreros Drop 6-5 Decision
|
Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Antenor Torres, the Aguada Catecumenes defeated the Anasco Guerreros, 6-5. Torres went 2-3 with a double and a walk. He scored 3 runs for the Catecumenes. Emanuel Ruelas was called on to finish, recording his 6th save. Aguada is now 25-14.
Julian Davies, who is tied for 10th in the LMB in doubles with 10, drove in one run for Aguada. In a tie game with one out in the bottom of the seventh, Davies came through with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Catecumenes in front, 6-5.
"Winning never gets old," said Torres.
