Díaz Shines in 15-0 Gem
Nicolás Díaz of the Guayama Aprendices was on fire against the Villalba Banqueros at Parquecito de Guayama. He shut them out, 15-0, on 5 hits, collecting 12 strikeouts and allowing no walks.

"The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Díaz said later. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that."

So far this year, Díaz has compiled a 10-2 record with a 2.29 ERA.
