Big Day for van den Berg as Catecumenes Down Jerezanos, 6-5

The Aguada Catecumenes and Isabela Jerezanos completed their game despite the rain.
The 6-5 Aguada win over Isabela was due largely to Ronald van den Berg. The Catecumenes shortstop went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Aguada, at 30-16, sits in second place in the Liga Mariana Bracetti División Manuel Corchado y Juarbe.
Cecil Dowell was a prime contributor to the Aguada win. He was 1 for 4 with a walk. In the top of the third with one out, the 23-year old right fielder hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 4-2, in favor of the Catecumenes.
"When you win, you always have confidence," said Aguada skipper Aldo Domínguez. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."
