Olivares Top-Notch as Conmutadores Stop Limbers, 2-0
|
Parquecito de Aibonito was the site of a true pitchers' duel.
In a tight game between the Arroyo Conmutadores and the Aibonito Limbers, pitcher Jaime Olivares was terrific on the mound. The Arroyo left-hander helped his team to the 2-0 win. Juan Acosta closed it out for his 3rd save.
Olivares made it look easy. He scattered 4 hits over 8.2 innings, while racking up 12 strikeouts. The left-hander upped his season record to 15-4.
"We had a good game plan," Olivares said, "and we were able to execute it."
The third-place Conmutadores have a record of 33-23.
