San German Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The San German Hermosos beat the Penuelas Idiofonos, 3-2, in 11 innings. San German starter Eugenio Ponce pitched a gem. Ponce, now 5-0, was the winner. In 11 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. The Hermosos now have a record of 29-30.

Sarpedón Ávalos played the role of hero for San German. In the bottom of the 11th, he launched a solo home run off Alejandro Medina to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was the decisive blow.

"Eugenio is good at sticking to his strengths," said San German manager René Solís.
