Barquisimeto Crepusculares starter Ángel Novoa was on his game, helping his team beat the Barinas Viajeros, 4-1. The loss lowers the Barinas record to 7-13.
With Barquisimeto leading 2-1 in the top of the eighth, Novoa hit a run-scoring single off Barinas hurler Nehemías Sandoval. It was the 4th hit of the season for Novoa and put his team ahead, 3-1.
"I didn't want to let them take the game from my hands," said Novoa.
