Though the conditions were not ideal, the Merida Caballeros and Maracay Jardineros came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The Merida Caballeros locked up a win at Jardines de Maracay, knocking off the Maracay Jardineros, 6-1. On the mound for Merida was right-hander José Flores. He played a major role in the triumph. The Caballeros, at 12-17, sit in 6th place in the Liga Oeste.
