Homer #100 for Aberdeen's Magdaleno
The Aberdeen Granite had something to celebrate today even though they dropped a 6-5 decision to Glasgow. The reason -- the splendid slugger Emilio Magdaleno hit his 100th career homer in today's contest at Shipwrights Stadium.

"I'm fortunate to be here," Magdaleno told the media after the game. "The Granite have a classy organization and some great fans. Homer #100 was for them."

Magdaleno has a career .283 batting average and .352 on-base percentage. He has recorded 760 hits with 145 doubles, 18 triples, 100 homers, 466 RBIs and scored 356 runs since coming into the league.
