Balieiro Shuts Down Viajeros, 3-0
|
Barquisimeto Crepusculares hurler Mateus Balieiro logged a 6-hit, complete game shutout over the Viajeros, stopping them, 3-0, at Barquisimeto Stadium.
"I felt great out there," Balieiro said in his postgame interview. "After the second or third inning, I got real comfortable. Hopefully this is a building block for me. I'd love a few more starts like this."
He rung up 2 strikeouts and gave up 3 walks in the performance.
