Aberdeen Carves Out 6-3 Win
The umbrellas came out during the Aberdeen-Glasgow contest at Shipwrights Stadium.

The Aberdeen Granite beat the Glasgow Shipwrights, 6-3. Aberdeen pitcher and Ponce, Puerto Rico, native Lorenzo Maldonado led the way. The win makes Aberdeen 66-65.

Aberdeen got the win thanks to a clutch hit from Arran Logan. The pinch hitter stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Granite ahead, 6-3. Though it was his only hit in 1 at-bat, it had a major impact on the outcome.

"Lorenzo is still learning," said Granite manager Ed Caskin. "The sky's the limit for him."
