Culebra Rallies to 6-5 Win
Chonlawit Narongchai left his imprint on the 6-5 Culebra win against the Trujillo Alto Arrecostaos. Narongchai, who is tied for 6th in the LJP in runs scored with 32, went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Jesús Rodríguez got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 1.2 innings. The Careyes now have a record of 34-23 with the win over Trujillo Alto.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 5-5, 19-year old left fielder Miloslav Varak won it for Culebra. With the bases loaded, Varak hit a 1-1 cutter from Otilio Sánchez for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 6-5 win.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Varak said.
