Wet weather did not postpone the San German-Sabana Grande ballgame.

San German center fielder Federico Zoto contributed significantly to his team's 7-5 win over the Sabana Grande Tramantes. Zoto, who is tied for 4th in the LMB in extra base hits with 25, went 2 for 5 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Hermosos. The win was credited to 21-year old right-handed pitcher Eugenio Ponce in relief. His record improves to 3-4. Guillermo Petrarco took the loss.

Dennis Goudie was 1 for 5 for San German. The 20-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Guillermo Petrarco. It was his 22nd RBI of the season.

"Helping the team win is what it's all about," said Zoto.

With this game in the books, San German is 35-25, Sabana Grande 38-22.
