The Isabela Jerezanos faced a tough opponent in Mayaguez pitcher Nicanor Sifuentes, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Parquecito de Mayagüez by a final score of 8-0 in 11 innings. Sifuentes went 9 innings and allowed no runs. Cedric Gray snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 2.2 innings. He's now 2-1 on the season. The Jerezanos raised their record to 36-23.

Juan Rubio had a key at-bat in the top of the 11th. With the bases empty, he hit a double. It helped send Isabela to the win.
