The umbrellas came out during the Trujillo Alto-Gurabo contest at Parquecito de Gurabo.

The Trujillo Alto Arrecostaos beat the Gurabo Escaleras, 11-0. Trujillo Alto pitcher and Salta, Argentina, native Aristóbulo Fernández led the way. Fernández picked up the win for Trujillo Alto, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 2-4.

Al Ward put Trujillo Alto in front, 10-0, when he took Marco Villalobos downtown. His grand slam home run came with two out in the top of the ninth. It was his 2nd home run of the season.

"We did a lot of things right," said Fernández.

The Arrecostaos improved to 35-28.
