Comecocos Use Late Rally to Win
The Luquillo Comecocos topped the Vieques Zumbadorcitos, 8-4, with designated hitter Aimón Cruz playing a big role. Cruz was 2-2 with a triple and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Comecocos in the win. Luquillo now sits at 34-30, while Vieques falls to 31-33.

Luquillo took the lead on Cruz's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which came against Balbino Adame in the top of the eighth, made the score 4-2, Luquillo.

"We're trying to go out there and win games," Cruz told the Luquillo Today, "and we played pretty well tonight."
