Utuado Serranos starter Carl Ginty led his team to victory over the Naranjito Predilectos, 6-1. The right-hander was locked-in. The winner was Ginty. He threw 7.2 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Jesús María Martín. Gap Ha recorded the save for Utuado, his 3rd of the season.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jakub Tomsej? The Utuado catcher had a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Serranos on top, 4-0. For the game, Tomsej had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
