Florida Pins 6-1 Loss on Lirios
|
The Florida Estribaciones topped the Vega Alta Lirios, 6-1, in Liga Mariana Bracetti action at Parquecito de Vega Alta. The standout performance belonged to Florida pitcher and Bayamón, Puerto Rico, native Marco Treviño. Florida used a well-timed hit by Joe Deakin to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Estribaciones ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.
