The Rincon Maquinistas got a strong performance from pitcher Oscar Hidalgo, who stymied the Isabela offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Parquecito de Isabela. The win makes Rincon 35-34.

The Maquinistas benefited from an error in the top of the fourth inning. Rincon was leading 2-0 when Lewis Barnes hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Rincon in front, 4-0.

"Oscar was able to execute his pitches," said Rincon manager José Romero. "Simple as that."
